Ygor Correia, of Bellingham, was shot at the party at 333 Howard St. in Northborough on Sunday, May 12, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said.

Three men have been arrested and are facing weapons charges related to the shooting. They are: Wallisom Texeira Da Silva, 20, of Hyde Park, Arnoldo Nogueira Filho, 19, of Marlborough, and Pedro Desouza-Passos, 27, of Rockland.

Someone at the party flagged down a Northborough police officer around 1 a.m. on Sunday to report that someone had a gun, the prosecutor said.

Police from multiple departments showed up at the home and were preparing to enter when they heard gunshots coming from inside, the DA's office said. When they rushed in, they found Ygor Correia suffering from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics rushed him to UMass Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. said 300 people were attending the party at the rented home. The house had been listed on AirBnB but the listing has since been taken down.

A spokesperson for AirBnB told MassLive that no one had rented the home on Saturday night.
